How We Store Your Data
Data Storage Overview:
• Scheduled emails: Stored in Firebase Firestore until sent
• Follow-up reminders: Stored in Firebase Firestore
• User settings and preferences: Stored in Firebase Firestore
• Immediate emails: Not stored - sent directly to Gmail
• Received emails: Not stored - fetched live from Gmail when needed
Technical Infrastructure
Our service operates on the following technical foundation:
- Hosting: Firebase Hosting (Google Cloud Platform)
- Database: Firebase Firestore for persistent data storage
- Email Integration: Direct Gmail API integration
- Analytics: Umami analytics for app usage insights
- Local Storage: Browser localStorage for session data (no cookies used)
Gmail Integration
When you connect your Gmail account, we:
- Access your Gmail to send emails on your behalf
- Fetch received emails in real-time (not stored on our servers)
- Use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication
- Never store your Gmail password or credentials
Analytics and Tracking
We use Umami analytics to understand how our service is used. This helps us improve functionality and user experience. Umami is privacy-focused and doesn't use cookies or track personal information.
Data Security
Your data is protected by:
- Firebase's enterprise-grade security infrastructure
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- OAuth 2.0 authentication for Gmail access
